As we need to coordinate with our Paddleboard Yoga Instructor, we require advance notice to run a class. Minimum group size is 6 people to run the class, if your party is smaller, we are happy to see if we can fill the rest of the spaces for you.
Based out of the calm and quiet Coopers Cove, Rush Adventures now offers standup paddleboard yoga. Experience the stunning ecosystem and biodiversity of the Sooke Basin has to offer as you launch off Rush’s private dock. Start the class off by acquainting yourself with the paddleboard and getting into a zen state of mind with a 5 minute paddle to get from our dock to the secluded bay where you’ll be practicing the yoga.
Within this bay you’ll experience some of the warmest waters in the area, and be fully immersed in a piece of the west coast that most locals don’t even know about. Throughout the yoga session the diverse numbers of birds in the area will serenade you and help you achieve inner peace. Keep an ear open to hear the songs of the Purple Martin (Rush is working alongside Rocky Point Bird Observatory to be environmental stewards for the Purple Martin) and keep an eye open to see their birdhouses.
SUPers will go through a class taught by a registered SUP Yoga Instructor. The feelings of inspiration and wellness will resonate within each individual as they share in this new and unique experience.
